Overview of Wild Tuscany:

Overview of Mild Tuscany:

A holiday to appeal to regular walkers who enjoy a challenging day out. Typically, a walk will last from 5-8 hours and involve an ascent of up to 1200m (3900ft). You may need a good head for heights for some of the narrower ridge walks and there may be some easy scrambling.

A holiday designed for those who want to combine low level walks with visits to medieval villages and towns. A typical walk will last from 3-5 hours and involve gentle ascents of up to 400m (1300ft)

"The Apuanes are characterised by sharp and jagged tops and narrow, steep-sided and arid gorges where wild boars and wolves still roam. A growing clientele of hillwalkers and climbers come seeking the peace and tranquility, not to mention the challenge, of Wild Tuscany."

Cameron McNeish, TGO Magazine
